The problem
Two things break a courier company: cash collected by couriers has no precise ledger so it leaks, and merchants phone daily asking where a shipment and their money are, which consumes the staff's day.
What we built
We built a full custody ledger: every collected amount is bound to its shipment and courier, and handover closes as a recorded movement. The merchant portal shows shipments, status and statement directly, with a versioned API for merchants who want to integrate.
The result
Operations and accounting in one system: collection closes against a ledger, and merchants self-serve instead of calling. 42 modules across 149,000 lines.
